Our Puppy Start Right Program is designed to get you started with the right paw forward because
we know that a well socialized puppy is less likely to develop fear, aggression or anxiety later in life. 
Our classes are led by experienced, certified dog trainers and are designed to build positive experiences for your puppy.

What is The Puppy Start Right Program?

• The Puppy Program is designed for puppies ages 9 weeks to 10 months at the start of the first class.
• Our classes cover various topics and exercises and are meant to be repeated, as each class offers new and exciting learning opportunities for puppies and their parents every week. 
• We offer Open Enrollment, so your puppy can join as soon as health requirements are met.  There is no wait time.
• Class meets twice per week  (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for maximum socialization and learning. ​
• Puppies under 12 months attending 10 classes are eligible for the AKC S.T.A.R. Certificate as a Bonus.  ​

Group Puppy Classes

Location: Pawtastic Friends at 2200 E Pama Lane (by Sunset Park)
Puppies under six months meet twice per week - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm.
Start with the Puppy Bundle for the greatest impact on your puppy's development. 

Preschool

This class is designed to help you and your new puppy start out with the right paw forward. This class is appropriate for puppies 9 to 12 weeks old at the start of class.

Kindergarten

FUNdamental learning and play for puppies 4 to 5 months or graduates of Puppy Preschool.  We build on FUNdamental skills learned in Puppy Preschool.

Control Unleashed® FUNdamentals.

This is a FUN learning for puppies 6 - 8 months or graduates of Preschool/Kindergarten. Teach your puppy important social skills with tricks, games, freestyle, and play. You will learn pattern games to work on focus & building connection and work through distractions.  
5 classes for $265

​Terrific Teens

Control Unleashed® FUNdamentals.

Teach your young dog important life skills in a FUN learning environment! This class is designed for adolescents in the 8 - 11 month age group. We work on clicker skills, targeting, stationing, leash walking, recall, self control with distractions. No females in season.

In-Home Training is great for addressing problem behaviors, will help you achieve your goals, and supplements skills learned in class.

What are the health requirements?

Please complete all of the requirements below before signing up.  Register one week prior to your start date. ​

• Puppies must in the home for a minimum of 10 days before the start date
• Start first class 10 days after first round of shots  - Distemper-Adenovirus 2-Parvo (DAP) vaccine or equivalent administered by veterinarian
• Puppies must keep up with their vaccine schedule during their time in puppy classes
• Bordetella vaccine, preferably an oral or intra-nasal vaccine, a minimum of 7 days prior to starting class
• Negative fecal test, performed by veterinarian, within 10 days of start date
• Proactive deworming for roundworms and hookworms, within 10 days of first class, regardless of fecal test results (no exception)
• Parasite prevention, as recommended by your veterinarian (heartworm, intestinal, flea, tick, etc...)
