​Canine Good Citizen

The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program developed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) is designed to promote responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. Dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate or title from the American Kennel Club. We build on foundation behaviors and learn to work on distraction, distance and duration. Test is administered on the last day of class. ​ Prerequisite: K9 Fundamentals or similar.

Advanced Canine Good Citizen: Community Canine (ACGC)

The Community Canine Class is the advanced level of the Canine Good Citizen Class. We teach and build on polite manners in real life settings.  Test is administered on the last day of class. 
Prerequisite: Canine Good Citizen Certificate.
