K9 Nose Work®
Inspired by working detection dogs, K9 Nose Work® is a fun activity that encourages your dog to use his nose to find food and toys. K9 Nose Work® builds confidence and focus. It's a fun game to play with your dog and an easy way to stimulate your dog mentally and physically. This is a great activity for all dogs - puppies, energetic adolescents, seniors, shy and reactive dogs. Dogs work one at a time and are required to wait their turn while crated or safely tethered in vehicle, weather permitting. We have classes at various locations. Please note class location upon registration.
Introduction to K9 Nose Work®
A Foundation class to teach your dog to independently search for food and toys. We focus on container searches. Prerequisite: dogs must be able to crate patiently while waiting their turn. 5 classes. $245.
Continuing K9 Nose Work®
An expansion of skills learned in the Foundation class. We continue creative container searches and introduce interior, exterior and vehicle searches.
Introduction to Odor
Dogs are taught to identify first target odor. We continue advancing your dog's scent discrimination skills.
Handling and teamwork strategies are reviewed.

Continuing Odor
Other target odors are introduced. We continue working on skill building, handling and teamwork.
Competition Prep
Teams learn to navigate in challenging scenarios in preparation for trial.
Single Classes: Skill Building Classes
Various topics at multiple locations.
Dogs displaying fear, frustration or reactivity are not suited for most of our group classes.
