FUNdamentals: The Basics

Train your dog to be an extraordinary companion!  Learn to work in collaboration with your dog to get the behavior you want. Basics classes in our FUNdamentals series: K9 FUNdamentals, My Polite Pup, K9 Life Skills, Loose Leash Walking and Remarkable Recall. 

K9 FUNdamentals

​Teach your dog important life skills in a FUN learning environment!  We work on clicker skills, the name game, targeting, go to mat, sniffing games, leash walking and recall.
​Prerequisite: Dogs must be comfortable working with dogs/people nearby. 5 classes. $185.

My Polite Pup
You and your pup will learn practical skills: entering/exiting doorways, polite greetings, passing people and dogs in tight spaces, loading in vehicle, waiting and much more. 
​Prerequisite: K9 FUNdamentals or similar. 5 classes. $185.

​K9 Life Skills 
Build on FUNdamentals and start working on the 3 D's: distraction, distance and duration. We work on focus, impulse control, relax on a mat, leash walking, recall and waiting at a boundary. 
​Prerequisite: K9 FUNdamentals or similar. 5 classes. $185.
​
​Loose Leash Walking
If your dog pulls you on walks this is the class for you!  We will go over leash handling, treat delivery and the mechanics to start teaching your dog to walk nicely on leash.  4 classes. Class is part 1 of a 2 part class offering. 
​Prerequisite: FUNdamentals or similar.  4 classes. $150.
​
​Loose Leash Walking - Part 2
We build on the skills learned in Loose Leash Basics.  Class is part 2 of our Loose Leash program. 
​Prerequisite: FUNdamentals or similar. 4 classes. $150.

​Remarkable Recall
​Does your dog ignore you when you when you call her to come?  Using food, toys and play we teach your dog that coming when called is when the FUN begins! 
​Prerequisite: FUNdamentals or similar. 4 classes. $150.
​

Clinics - 3 hours

​Loose Leash Walking - 3 hr Clinic
We will go over leash handling, treat delivery and the mechanics to start teaching your dog to walk nicely on leash. 
​Prerequisite: FUNdamentals or similar.  $90


Dogs displaying fear, anxiety or reactivity are not suited for most of our group classes.  Please contact us to schedule a private consultation. Any of our Group Classes can be structured into Private Classes at our studio.
